One Crew for the Whole Job
Concreting covers a lot of ground, and most people only think about it when they've got a specific job in front of them — a cracked old driveway, a slab for a new shed, an outdoor area they finally want to finish properly. Whatever brought you here, the work below is grouped into four areas so it's easy to find what you're after: everyday residential pours, decorative finishes, heavy-duty commercial work, and restoration for concrete that's past its best. You deal with the same licensed crew across all of it.
If you're weighing up residential versus commercial, the difference is mostly about load and standards. A home driveway or patio is built for cars and foot traffic, while a warehouse floor, hardstand or car park has to carry forklifts, trucks and constant use — so the slab is thicker, the reinforcement heavier and the finish tougher. We handle both, and we'll spec your job to what it actually needs rather than over- or under-building it.

Learn more →Choosing the Right Finish
The finish is where most people get stuck, because it's part looks and part practicality. Plain concrete is the workhorse — affordable, tough and easy to repair — and it's a solid choice for sheds, paths and utility areas. If you want something that lifts the front of the house, exposed aggregate is the most popular decorative finish in CQ for good reason: it's durable, naturally non-slip and handles the sun well, which makes it a favourite for driveways and pool surrounds. Coloured and stamped finishes give you the look of pavers or stone with far less upkeep, while polished concrete suits indoor floors that need to be easy-clean and hard-wearing.
A few things are worth weighing up: how the surface handles bare feet and wet conditions (important around pools), how much cleaning and resealing you're happy to do, and how the colour and texture will sit against your home. You don't have to have it worked out before you call — we'll talk you through the options for your specific site and budget when we quote, and point you toward what actually lasts out here rather than what just looks good on day one.
Every job runs the same way regardless of finish: a site visit and written fixed quote, a locked-in start date, proper base prep, formwork and reinforcement, the pour and finish, then managed curing and a clean site.
